What sort of application best suits my organization?

To apply for membership with the IMDRF, you’ll need to choose the category that best suits your organization’s eligibility: 

• Management Committee Member - For regulatory bodies demonstrating active leadership in medical device regulation and a history of being an IMDRF Official Observer.

• Official Observer - For regulatory authorities interested in attending IMDRF meetings and contributing insights.

• Affiliate Member - For agencies and organizations supporting IMDRF goals but not yet fully advanced on the regulatory pathway.

• Regional Harmonization Initiative (RHI) - For initiatives promoting regulatory convergence within specific regions.

Your organization may also wish to become involved with the IMDRF’s Working Groups. To apply for a Working Group, please complete one application per individual applying noting each application may be for multiple Working Groups.
